We stress on two terms - sustainability and business. These terms reflect our belief that a platform cannot be sustainable in the long run if it is not competitive as a business and that today's businesses cannot be competitive in the long run if they are not attentive to sustainability aspects.

ABOUT US
We are a US-based organization, with deep skills in science, engineering and finance coupled with an intrinsic vision of sustainable development. Team includes several members with PhD degrees, MBAs and graduate degrees in science and engineering.
Praveen Paripati founded SBR to actively participate in transitioning the world from almost exclusive dependence on crude (fossil fuel) for transportation and chemicals and materials to a more sustainable framework. 20th century has seen phenomenal increase in the use of crude and societies have benefited significantly by the use of gasoline and diesel in transportation and power generation and other components of crude in the manufacture of chemicals and materials.
These developments have also imposed significant costs, both in terms of long term environmental and health impacts and geopolitics. This has led SuGanit to the following conclusion: While globalization and free trade are good practices, societies and communities enjoy greater and more sustainable freedoms when they are locally self-sufficient in their necessities
Since inception, SuGanit has focused its attention on both technology development and economic viability. This twin focus, coupled with out of the box thinking and proprietary product development have enabled us to successfully collaborate and develop patented technology that makes our business/production goals viable and best-in-class.
RECOGNITION
For almost two decades SuGanit has developed and patented a robust technology platform to produce five carbon and six carbon sugars and their derivatives from ligno-cellulosic biomass. A significant portion of this was done in collaboration with Universities in the US.
SuGanit has been successful in winning competitive grant awards from US Department of Energy, US Department of Agriculture and the State of Ohio for development of different aspects of the technology. Over this time, we have successfully scaled the technology a million-fold, paying critical attention to process scalability and economic viability.
